The constitution affects my daily life.
When I steal a bag of chips they won’t break my hips.
I have a right to no cruel and unusual punishment because it’s not right, for that I’m willing to fight.
The constitution affects my daily life.
When I laugh at school I won’t get a suspension, or worse detention!
I have the freedom of expression.

The constitution affects my daily life.
When the police come knocking at my door wanting to stay, I can say “go away”.
I have the right to refuse housing soldiers without my windows being broken by boulders.
The constitution affects my daily life.
When I borrow James maddison to do my civics homework, it’s not an automatic no-no I can defend my choice.
I have the right to a fair and speedy trial, and to that I say smile.
The constitution affects my daily life.
When James maddison files a lawsuit against me, I can just laugh and say “oopsies”.
I have the right to remain silent, without becoming an assailant.
